Frequently Asked Questions about Juliet Romeo Photography

FAQ – Professional Photographer in Orlando Florida

It’s normal to feel a bit uneasy in front of the camera. Creating a comfortable atmosphere is my priority.

Together, we will seamlessly navigate through poses, starting at the feet, working upward through the hands. I will demonstrate how to pose if you get stuck, and then help you adjust your body to get the pose just right.

Just follow my lead. I will ensure you exude calmness in your facial expression, resulting in confidence and a stronger connection with the camera.

I specialize in fine art portraiture, meaning I love to capture my client’s essence through artistic expression. Photography is my biggest passion, and I draw upon my background in fine art to creatively approach each portrait.

I pay close attention to lighting, pose, composition, and post-production to create gorgeous, painterly portraits that resonate and tell compelling stories. These portraits become cherished memories for you and your family for generations to come.

My approach to photography is deeply rooted in my passion for creating art, and my love of working with people. I thrive on the connection nurtured during our photo sessions together, guiding you to see yourself in new, authentic ways. I’m a mom and I understand the importance of the relationships. I take pride in honoring that love, bringing it to the forefront of my sessions. Every person is their own work of art!

Through dedicated practice, I have refined my skills in lighting, technique, and concept to develop a unique style. I prefer to slow down and take a moment to refine a pose or composition, resulting in portraits of the highest quality.

In an era dominated by social media and content creation, many other photographs prefer quantity over quality, but I prioritize creating impactful photographs that resonate for a lifetime.

Additionally, I think it is essential to print and experience your artwork in a tangible way. There is something profoundly special and unique about holding your memories in your hands, something that cannot be replaced by digital work alone. Click here for more about me.

We will begin with a consultation to discuss the goals and details of the session, including the mood of the portraits and your preference for printed artwork. We’ll also cover styling, hair, makeup, and any other specific requests you may have.

After the consultation, you’ll receive a detailed outline of the photoshoot, along with a custom mood board reflecting ideas for poses, color, and subject matter. This ensures that we are on the same page before the session begins, providing you with comfort and clarity.

On the day of the session, all you have to do is relax, listen to my guidance, and have fun! I will gently guide your posing and expressions throughout the session.

After the session, you will receive an email with a link to your online album that will contain a collection of the best photographs I captured. Once you have made your selections, I will retouch your chosen images, and then deliver those digital copies via your online album.

From there, you’ll have the flexibility to customize your printing, framing, and album choices according to your preferences. Printed artwork typically takes about two or three weeks for delivery. Click here for more about what’s included in a photo session.

Styling plays a significant role in the overall look and feel of your portrait session, and it’s something I’m passionate about.

I adore earthy colors and wardrobe pieces with texture and elegance. When selecting outfits, I prioritize colors that complement your skin tones and enhance your eyes, avoiding bold patterns, graphics, or words.

Timeless pieces are my go-to, and full, long skirts photograph beautifully. For more information, check out my free Style Guide for Everyone by clicking here.

I offer both digital and physical art. I believe that printed photographs are necessary, one of the most important steps in the whole process!

Printing out portraits holds significant benefits beyond digital images alone, providing a deeper emotional connection to the captured memories, and offering a tactile experience that fosters appreciation and nostalgia.

Unlike digital files, printed portraits become enduring artifacts that preserve family history and legacy, serving as tangible reminders of cherished moments and milestones. Viewing printed artwork enhances the present-day appreciation of these memories and fosters a sense of connection and emotional resonance that digital images may not achieve. More information about prints and digital files can be found here.

Yes! Pets are family too and I love including them in portraits. Their presence adds an extra layer of uniqueness and authenticity to your portraits, capturing the bond you share with your furry friend.

Using AI in photography, especially in fantasy photography, opens up limitless possibilities for creating fantastical and beautiful settings. AI tools can enhance and manipulate images with precision, allowing me to craft intricate, otherworldly scenes that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional methods. With AI, I can generate surreal landscapes and add magical elements to create incredibly imaginative scenes and bring them to life. Used selectively and with skill, AI is a great tool to enhance an image.
